Bradley Middle School- 2012-2013 Clash of the Titles Champs!



Clash of the Titles is a reading enrichment program for middle school students in a quiz-show format.



  • to encourage recreational reading
  • exposure to variety of fictional authors
  • increase familiarity with different authors
  • introduce the Texas Library Association Lone Star List
  • share books through written and oral expression

    • Discuss participation with all middle school librarians
    • Assign two Lone Star titles to each librarian. Librarian responsible for 9 quotation questions and 6 short-answer questions with only one specific answer
    • Order Lone Star titles


    • Set date on master calendar
    • Librarians begin writing questions



    • Assign a coordinator for campus ribbons, t-shirts, and Public Relations (press releases, invitations), and signage


    • Publicize Clash of the Titles
    • Have titles available for check out (before Christmas break)


    • Encourage reading of the Clash books



    • Encourage reading of the Clash books

    • Count of teams
    • Deadline for questions to be entered into PowerPoint
