Purpose of LibGuide

Today’s Gen Z students seem more tech-savvy than they really are, especially when it comes to using Google to find, evaluate, curate, and remix information to learn.


Leverage innovative approaches to motivate students to go beyond Google using TexQuest and Open Educational Resources (OER).


  • Learn timely strategies for engaging students to use these resources for a variety of purposes, including personal exploration and curation

  • See demonstrated examples of blended learning/flipped instruction, gamification, and interactive lessons using TexQuest digital resources and OER at the ES, MS, HS levels

  • Gain ideas on integrating information & digital literacy instruction using TexQuest digital resources and OER
