Library News

All library materials are due Tuesday, May 19th!  Please get all materials in ASAP!

One Book, One Summer!  To promote summer reading, Wood Middle School Library will be conducting One Book, One Summer Reading program.  To participate, students will read the book The Mark of the Thief and then submint a 160 character count review (like a tweet) by the first Friday of the new school year.  They will then be invited to a Roman celebration to be held after school sometime at the beginning of the school year.  We are hoping to be able to have a Skype chat with the author during this celebration.  We will be giving approximately 40 books away sometime in the last two weeks of school.  Check our facebook, twitter and Instagram feed for exact dates.  We will also put it on school announcements.  If you don't get a copy from the library, this title is available at the public library as well as Overdrive for free and available to buy at Book Fair.  Here is a link book trailer if you would like to learn more about this title.
